Well, this is it, The Big Day!!!
The big crate arrived today with the rest of the kit in it (wings and fuselage). WoW! I think I know where at least some of the crating charge goes - I think I removed at least $200 worth of screws... *grin*

I hired a roll-back tilt-bed tow truck to transport the crate from the terminal to my house. They did an excellent job with the transport, and even helped me push the crate into the garage. If anyone needs a tow in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area, call Shawn's Towing at 919-398-2870. I highly recommend them!

I took a bunch of pics of the whole transport and uncrating process.

The first peek in the crate!!!!

Look, Ma, this one's got MY name on it!!!

Sure is a lot of stuff in here...

Just a few more days and we can go for a ride, buddy! :-)

An unwanted guest. Yes, that is a quarter, and yes, it scared the cr*p out of me. We don't grow 'em that big when I come from (Maine).

First peek at the inside...

Room for the whole clan! Yes, we were making airplane noises, of course! :-)
The cat was purring, much like the Subaru engine I hope to install...
Yeah, I know my hair is a mess, but who has time for a haircut when there is an airplane to be built!
